Labels for Home-A Bright Star Kids Review

My larder press is full of jars with a myriad of different contents, my counter top is awash with more jars of flours, dried fruits, nuts & seeds. These products are all staples in my kitchen so it makes sense to me to keep them in storage jars, however, I’ve a dreadful habit of not labelling these jars, which is fine if the contents are obvious, less so when you can’t tell your spelt flour from your self raising!!

These labels from Bright Star Kids are a godsend. They are brilliant, and they look great too I think; when you’ve run out of space in your kitchen cupboards, it is far nicer to have a labelled storage jars on display than packets. The Labels for Home kits cover everything you could possible have in your kitchen from food to household detergent.

I have a selection of clear Household Labels that cover everything from herbs & apices to flours & oils and includes some blank labels for anything you may wish to add yourself. Once applied properly these labels can be put through the dishwasher, survive in the microwave and last in the freezer, which is a real bonus, I have lost count of the number of times I have lost labels from containers in the freezer.

The second set of labels I have are Vintage Style Chalk Board labels , along with a Chalk Pencil. I love these. The kit includes a good selection of 30 labels in varying sizes, as with the clear labels these are safe to use in the dishwasher, freezer & fridge. Should you wish to re use them, simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth and they’re good to go again. I gift a lot of cakes and sweet treats, I think these labels would also make lovely gift tags for cake boxes.

The style of these is so appealing, they are right at home in my kitchen, I’m waiting quite some time now for Mr. Simply Homemade to put up some shelves in my kitchen to house all of my jars, perhaps now they look so much more attractive he might oblige!!
