150g/5 ½ oz Margarine
100g/3 ½ oz Muscovado Sugar
2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
350g/ 12oz Plain Flour, sifted
1 tsp Bicarb Soda
3tsp Ground Ginger
* Preheat oven to 200 C/GM6.
*Melt the margarine, sugar & syrup in a pan. In a large bowl mix the flour, bicarb, ginger & cinnamon, then stir in the margarine mixture to make a stiff dough..
*Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface & stamp out your biscuits.
*Bake in the oven for approx 10 minutes.
* Transfer to a wire rack & leave to go cold.
