Bargains for Baking with Children

As I mentioned previously, the children gift their teachers with homemade gifts at Christmas, that they have helped to bake. It’s a lovely idea and it gets them busy in the kitchen for an afternoon. They love helping in the kitchen anyway but this, along with baking cookies for Santa is something that is more their responsibility, than mine, I’m simply Mama Elf, there to mop up the spills!!

You can imagine my delight when I ventured into Homestore & More to find bargain after bargain for Christmas baking. They have a great selection of cake pans, cookie pans, treat boxes, cupcake cases, cake decorations……..you get the picture right?

For November all of their baking tins are half price anyway so if there is something you’re after, now is the time to snap it up.

I got some lovely cupcake cases for cupcakes that we will gift, as you can see these are only €2, the  bags will play host to some mince pies, again these were €2. The basket bags will hold Chocolate Biscuit Pudding very nicely.

This cookie pan is reduced to €1.99, a complete bargain, we’ll have great fun creating some festive fancies with this.

However, these cake pans have to be my favourite bargain, 99c each, the children will have such fun decorating cakes from these. I’m thinking a fondant covered madeira snowman and perhaps a chocolate biscuit Christmas tree, what do you think?

There is a wealth of other festive baking bargains to be found in Homestore & More at the moment, check some of them out here, however I’d recommend you go to your nearest store to see everything! The cookie cutters for making Santa’s cookies are another great bargain, we got the ginger bread family ones last year, I would highly recommend them, they’re very good quality.

Now off, with you, go grab a bargain.

Please note, I was not asked to write this post.  I’m happy to share news of the bargains available to fellow consumers 🙂
