Foodie Finds on Netflix #StreamTeam Ireland

I had every intention of blogging this last week, however, as often happens, life gets in the way sometimes. That’s the beauty of Netflix of course, you don’t have to spend time rushing to get things done before ‘your’ programme starts or shedding silent tears when a child has accidently deleted your programme….again. Nope, with Netflix it’s there, ready to be watched when it suits you, which is brilliant!

On the 26th April, an exciting new docu-series, ‘Chef’s Table’,  premiered on Netflix, one which I cannot wait to sink my teeth into!

Chef’s Table features six of the world’s most renowned international chefs, and offers viewers the opportunity to go inside the lives and kitchens of these culinary talents.  Chefs featured include Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy), Dan Barber (Blue Hill Restaurant at Stone Barns and in New York City, USA),  Francis Mallmann (El Restaurante Patagonia Sur in Buenos Aires, Argentina), Niki Nakayama (N/Naka Restaurant in Los Angeles, CA, USA), Ben Shewry (Attica Restaurant in Melbourne,  Australia) and Magnus Nilsson (Fäviken in Järpen Sweden).

Chef’s Table is definitely one to watch!

Other documentaries you might like to watch are:

Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2 – With the help of experts, Joe Cross details the eating and lifestyle changes that can help others match his weight loss and health achievements.

I have spoken about the first Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary and highly recommend it.

Fed UpThis eye-opening documentary examines the underlying causes of childhood obesity, which has become an ever-more serious medical issue in America.

I really feel this is well worth a watch, particularly considering we are in the midst of an extremely worrying obesity epidemic

When you’re finished with all of that, might I also suggest ChefWhen chef Carl Casper’s plans for opening a restaurant in Los Angeles fail to pan out, he returns home to Miami and debuts a food truck instead.

So many good shows, I feel a Netflix marathon coming on!!

As a member of the Netflix Stream Team I have received a complimentary one year Netflix membership along with an Apple Tv. I will in turn be featuring Netflix related blog posts. All opinions are my own!
