Another month has gone by, we are halfway through the summer holidays in Ireland, well I say Summer, but for any of us living here it has been a grey, cold and very wet summer so far. Lets not dwell on that, instead we’ll have a look back at what’s been happening here in July.
July started with a delicious recipe for a Smoked Salmon & Goats Cheese quiche which has come to feature quite regularly on our menu. It really is delicious and quite an economical way of having Smoked Salmon on the menu for a large family.
I was having a pretty crappy day, however, Tesco came to the rescue and gave us something to laugh about when they turned wine into bread!! Miracles do happen, check out my Thank You Note to Tesco.
You may recall I hosted a linky back in June, A Healthier Start #betterbreakfasts, I did a round up of all the lovely recipes that were linked up, you’ll find them all here along with a wealth of inspiration.
There was great excitement in my family when my sister got engaged, have a look at the engagement gifts I gave them for the special occasion.
My kitchen jars got a lovely makeover with some gorgeous Vintage Labels I received for review from Bright Star Kids. We’ll be reviewing their school labels here very soon, so keep an eye out for that.
Caoimhe & Abbie created a magical place for the fairies in our garden and Abbie lived her dream and became a real fairy!
We ended July on a high point with a little Netflix party, the children had a ball for the afternoon, watching Dragons: Race to the Edge, having Dragon themed party food and running around the garden like mad Vikings!!
I hope July was good to you and here’s hoping August will bring sunshine and lots of fun & laughter x
