Simple Chocolate Mousse

Not only is this Chocolate Mousse quick and simple to make, it is also a healthier alternative to other sugar laden offerings.

Avocado’s contain a significant amount of healthy fats and are packed with vitamins and minerals, they carry a host of health benefits.

Unless you can source a cocoa powder that has no added sugar, cacao is a healthier alternative and actually boasts a generous number of health benefits which you can read about here.

Now, lets not be under any illusions, sugar is sugar, however that white stuff that comes in a bag has absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever and just clings to our hips, it’s extremely bad for us. Maple syrup is a completely natural sweetener and it also happens to contain some antioxidants and minerals including calcium, iron and manganese.

So, back to the chocolate mousse. I somehow managed to get a few minutes alone in the kitchen and whipped this up, tasting and adjusting as I went until I was happy with it I let everybody taste it and get their opinions before telling them how I’d made it.

They were well impressed!!
