It doesn’t seem like two years have passed since my sister announced her engagement, but, they have and now as the big day fast approaches it’s all systems go to get organised.
With flower girls dresses sorted we moved on to the boys. My sister had a good idea of what she wanted colour wise and required something slightly different to the adults.
She was familiar with Roco Clothing as she had purchased a suit from them a couple of years ago and they were coming up trumps again when she spotted the Henry suit on their website. Fate stepped in when Roco clothing got in touch with me and kindly offered to send us a suit from their Communion Range, which happened to have the Henry suit.
The first thing that instantly struck me about the Paisley of London Henry suit was the way it arrived. It’s always a worry buying ‘good’ items like suits online because if they’re not well packaged there can be an abundance of creases, however, the suits from Roco arrived in little suit bags so they were in perfect condition.
On inspection, the suits are of such good quality. As we all know, little boys love to run and jump, climb and crawl, regardless of the occasion and these suits are light weight enough to not interfere with such important activities!!
The shirts are gorgeous, light but not paper thin, superior to department store shirts and have a lovely distinctive pattern.
My Cuddlemonster is to be a page boy at the wedding and up to now he has told us he wasn’t going to the wedding, he was going fishing instead! Then he tried on his suit and changed his mind. He declared the jacket as being very cosy! While I’m sure it is cosy, I also love the overall fit and the lining is so lovely, this could have been plain but the pattern just makes it feel that bit more distinctive.
An adjustable waistband is a must when buying trousers for our boys and again Roco Clothing is meeting our needs with this. The suits are sized by age, however, there is a measuring guide which is so useful. We were able to measure the boys ensuring we got the most accurate sizes we needed. It really is worth your while taking a few moments to measure up before ordering.
Buying online we were prepared for the possibility that we would have alterations to carry out, we needn’t have been, the suits are a perfect fit.
I’ve noticed in the last few years a growing trend in little boys asking to wear suits for their communion day. Roco Clothing go one step further with their communion range suits. They come with a matching tie which is embellished for the occasion. This is such a unique touch that I have never come across before.
Little touches like the embellishment on the tie and of course the hanky for the breast pocket make these suits, in my opinion, that little bit extra special, which is lovely for a little boy on his big day.
The communion range of suits come complete with jacket, trousers, waistcoat, shirt and tie and there is a wealth of choice.
Roco Clothing have very kindly given me a discount code for you; ‘homemade15’, this will entitle you to 15% off the whole communion range!
Disclaimer: Roco Clothing sent me two suits from their communion range for the purpose of this review. As always, all opinions expressed are my own honest views.
