Netflix-Must See at the Minute

There’s never any shortage of great shows and movies to watch on Netflix. Here are just a few that we’re watching at the moment.

Anne With An E

We loved this, my 5 year old in particular was fascinated by Anne. It’s a real family show, perfect Sunday evening viewing when everyone is winding down after the weekend.

Based on Anne of Green Gables, the 1908 novel by L.M. Montgomery,  Irish actress, Amy Beth McNulty takes on the role of Anne in this coming-of-age story about an outsider who, against all odds and many challenges, fights for love and acceptance and her place in the world.

Orange is the New Black Season 5

Can you believe we’re into Season 5 in Litchfield?  The power dynamics at Litchfield shift dramatically as the inmates react to a tragedy in an explosive new season.

Glow Season 1

I am really looking forward to watching this when it hits our screens on Friday, June 23rd. Big hair. Body slams. It’s 1980s Los Angeles in this comedy series, and an unemployed actress keeps her dream alive by portraying a female wrestler.

Bloodline Season 3

In the final season, a desperate Kevin gets in deeper with Roy Gilbert and his dark dealings. John is torn between silencing and protecting Eric.

The Keepers

This docu- series begins with the story of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a beloved nun and Catholic high school teacher in Baltimore who went missing on Nov. 7, 1969. Nearly two months later, her body was found – and, to this day, her murder remains unsolved. This is a tough watch at times.

As a member of the Netflix Ireland Stream Team I have received complimentary Netflix membership and in return will be featuring Netflix related blog posts. All opinions are my own!
