Faux Christmas Wreath

This year, so far, I haven’t bought any new decorations, however, I did pick up bits & pieces to enable me to make my own. Crafting is incredibly satisfying, can be quite a mindful activity and leaves the crafter with a unique piece that won’t be bought in the shops.

I wanted something to hang on a glass door in my kitchen so I decided to make a wreath. It’s not super fancy, it took no time and all and it will serve me well for many a Christmas I am sure.

Requirements

  • Wire Wreath (I bought these in Dealz)
  • Faux foliage – I had branches that had fallen off our own tree and I had various bits & pieces I bought in Homestore & More.
  • Wire to attach foliage (I bought some in Tiger)
  • Scissors
  • Twine for hanging

Instructions

Attach the base foliage, in my case the Christmas tree branches, to the wreath with wire.

Play around with your decorative pieces and be sure you’re happy with the final look before attaching them. I chose not to add extra base foliage as I like the gold wire peeking through. There are so man options with a craft like this.

Add twine to hang your wreath and voila. It really is the most simple of crafts.
