Harry Potter & the Cursed Child

This week Jack (11) makes his debut on the blog with his review of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

J.K. Rowling’s latest book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is proving very popular and is quite possibly my favourite of the Harry Potter series.

This book is all about Harry and his friends 19 years after Harry defeated the dark wizard, Voldemort. Harry’s youngest child Albus is now at Hogwarts and is best friends with Draco Malfoy’s son, Scorpius. Together they go on some amazing and exciting adventures.

This book is a must have for Harry Potter fans, even if you have only seen the movies and not read the previous books. I would recommend Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for children aged 10+. Even though it is about witches and wizards, it does contain some very hard and confusing words; as well as some violent scenes.

I hope I have persuaded you to read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, it is really very thrilling.

Until next time,

Thanks so much Jack, that really is a super review!

We bought our own copy of The Cursed Child we were not asked to review it. This is Jack’s honest opinion.
