June started with a post I initially thought about in January, put into practice from February, and finally published in June, #betterbreakfasts was and continues to be my attempt at getting my children to eat a much healthier variety of breakfasts and not be relying on breakfast cereals. I was delighted to find inspiration in all of the lovely breakfast posts that linked up to join in with A Healthy Start, do check them out, there are some great breakfast recipes there.
The Secret Garden is a beautiful little haven in Rosslare Harbour, it has also been the most popular post this month, unsurprisingly, it is a place of natural beauty and while I hope I captured that in the photos, really the best way to see it is by popping down there for a visit.
A conversation within the Irish Parenting Bloggers group inspired me to pen a little Ode to Butter, it is either wonderful or I am losing my mind!!
Mr. Simply Homemade and I made a much needed bid for freedom on the 19th June, two whole nights alone, it was amazing. We started that weekend with the most delicious meal we’d had in a long time in the Tannery.
June saw the first in what I hope will become a regular feature called #littlevoices, where I share the funny little things children come out with. Have a read of the first Little Voices here.
Finally for June’s Moments From, I shared this story that Caoimhe had written during the school year, it is very lovely.
Have a wonderful July!
