What Caught My Eye

What Caught My Eye #19

Sunday has rolled around again, the weeks are flying! Unfortunately the weather doesn’t seem to be flying with time and gracing us with long hot Summer days just yet so plenty of time to do some reading.

Last Monday was World Environment day, so with that in mind, here are 11 Ways to be a Better Earth Citizen That Will Save You Money Too.

Often Called Cathy has a great review of Andrea Mara’s debut novel, The Other Side of the Wall.

I couldn’t help but feel the emotion in Notes From the Airport, a beautiful reflection on Maud’s recent visit to Dublin to sort out some family affairs. This will really tug at your heartstrings.

I love this, How to become an expert stone skimmer! Mr. Simply Homemade loves showing the children how to skim stones on the beach.

I enjoyed this interview, Inspiration & Other Mysteries, with author Róisín Meaney.

I was thrilled to see my blogging friend Donna (who is also celebrating four years of blogging) from A Cookbook Collection in the National Dairy Council’s #Cheeseupyourlife competition…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtGJ11m2pcM&feature=youtu.be

I love pancakes, they’re a quick & easy breakfast or lunch. These Chilli & Chive Chickpea Pancakes look & sound delicious.

These Almond Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are going on my ‘must try’ list. They look so good!

I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Snapchat (occasionally!)

  1. I enjoyed the article about being more eco friendly — except I can’t take my shoes off because I would get cold wet feet!!!

And thanks for the mention too x
